From tennis to “street” the women's sneakers speak Autry
From tennis trainers to never again without: the history of women's Autry’s sneakers is full of falls and rebirths, and today more than ever this footwear with the US flag on it represents an icon for the women’s footwear fashion. Born in Dallas in 1882, today the Autry brand speaks Italian. It was some “local” entrepreneurs who relaunched the brand in 2018 and in recent years, leading the turnover to grow more and more and making the sneakers with the American flag iconic. Since the summer of 2021, the brand has been in ownership of Made in Italy Fund, the private equity fund managed by Quadrivio and Pambianco. Originally, as stated above, the footwear was designed for sporting purposes; in particular the Autry model was suited for those who practised tennis and basket (the well-known Medalist model was even awarded in 1985 by tennis Magazine as the best tennis shoe of the year). Today, the Autry Medalis and Dallas models reign supreme in every occasion thanks to their Vintage style that has made these shoes unique.
Autry Medalist: the model most loved by women
Who says Medalist, says Autry: is she the sneaker queen of women’s fashion, belonging to the famous brand with the American flag.
